What to expect

3
  1. August 27: Netflix first, YouTube six hours later

    Confirmed

Rockstar announced on August 6 that "Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look" premieres on Netflix on Thursday, August 27 at 3 p.m. Eastern, and lands on the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel and the Grand Theft Auto VI site at 9 p.m. Eastern the same day. Those six hours need a Netflix subscription; the YouTube posting is free. In local time the premiere is 8 p.m. in London, 9 p.m. in Warsaw, Berlin and Paris, 10 p.m. in Moscow, 4 p.m. in Brasilia.

  2. Rockstar calls it an extended look, not Trailer 3

    Confirmed

The official name is "An Extended Look". Rockstar gave no running time, published no list of what it contains, and did not promise gameplay. Netflix framed the deal through its vice president of nonfiction series, Brandon Riegg, as debuting the next part of the Grand Theft Auto story with its members first. We keep calling this entry Trailer 3 because that is what the third video in the series is known as.

  3. A story-heavy look at Lucia and Jason is still only the expectation

    Rumor

Press and fans expect voiced scenes, new corners of Leonida and maybe a first HUD glimpse, on the logic that pre-orders already opened without a trailer, so this one is free to sell the story. None of that is in the announcement, so it stays labeled as expectation until the video airs.
